The Role

The Content Marketing Associate is responsible for developing and publishing disruptive content that helps our community navigate this space. They demonstrate empathy for the challenges writers face, nurture the readers and writers within the t2 community, and critique the publishing industry and the online space in meaningful, well-researched, and intentional ways. They are trend interpreter who enjoy meaningful growth without losing their mind on social media.

As a Content Marketing Associate, you will work closely with the Head of Growth. Our team has a fairly flat organization, so you will have many opportunities to work alongside the other team members from time to time, including the Co-founders.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Brainstorm, create, and publish social media content on X, Lens, Instagram and TikTok in line with content strategy and goals
  • Report on social performance as well as identify and execute optimizations
  • Manage community, communicate with followers, respond to DMs (in collaboration with other team members – we’re not the type of brand that leaves one team member in the trenches 24/7)
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate on marketing-related tasks cross-functionally with team members: Growth, Product and Co-Founders

We need

Sharp and genuine copy, witty memes, social video creation and editing, and light design skills. Maybe you’re not 10/10 on all, but you know what you’re good at and how to get help with the rest!

Who you are

  • Multimedia Magician: Text, images, videos, and even audio are fluid forms at your fingertips. You navigate multimedia creation with ease. You’re ready to execute a content strategy from creative concept to completion. Reporting, optimization, repeat.
  • Wordsmith: You are a magician of words passionate about writing good stories.
  • Master of engagement: Lighting up a comments section is your love language.
  • Cheerleader: You want to see more writers succeed and love to cheer them on and support them.
  • Communicator: You understand the critical role that communication plays in a remote team, especially in a distributed, remote-first environment. You know how to give, receive, and appreciate candid feedback.
  • Curious Cat: You have a passion for learning and are not intimidated by what you do not yet know. You love to drive innovative tech solutions adhering to iterative principles.

What you have

  • An understanding of the journey of writers and readers and the current publishing industry.
  • Educational background in marketing, journalism, media, publishing, or literature.
  • 1-2 years experience in a creative content creation role. It can be a hobby, a part-time position, or even a school project. Be prepared to show us what you’ve got.

Nice-to-haves

  • Consistent writing or other media creation history, e.g. personal blog or YouTube channel.
  • Web3 native: knowledge of the web3 social and publishing scene.
  • Power reader.
  • Creative outlets (professional or hobby).

Location

  • This role is open to remote candidates who can work during UK business hours.
  • Most of our team is spread out between London and Poland, preference will be given to candidates in these areas.

Start Date, Compensation, and Benefits

  • This position is available immediately.
  • A three-month probation period (full pay) will be in effect from the start date.
  • Compensation range from $37,000 to $41,000 USD (£30,000 to £33,000 GBP) based on level of skills and experience.
  • Equity/token options available after probation period.
  • Annual team offsites, wellness stipend, learning stipends.
  • 33 days Paid Time Off per year (including local public holidays, wherever you are).
  • Additional benefits (pension, healthcare, etc.) are to be implemented after raising Series A.

Hiring Process

If you are shortlisted for interviews, these will be your next steps:

  • 15-minute screening call with the Co-founder/COO
  • 30-minute knowledge interview with both the Co-founder/COO and the Head of Growth
  • Take-home (paid) assignment with a 24-hour turnaround time
  • 30-minute final interview with the Co-founder/CEO and the Head of Growth
