About Us: We are a Series A crypto startup building a developer platform for onchain commerce. Our mission is to empower developers to build the next generation of consumer crypto applications by making tokens easy to build with and streamlining crypto payments. We support hundreds of crypto businesses, including Magic Eden and Coinbase, across a variety of verticals like gaming, social, payments and more. We have a deeply technical team with expertise in blockchain indexing, protocol design, and cross-chain interoperability. We are looking to bring on a motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our small, but growing team.

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with a background in finance & crypto to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to drive data-driven insights and strategies that will shape our developer platform and enhance our commerce tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, contributing to the growth and success of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis and Research: Analyze large and complex datasets of onchain data to uncover actionable insights and trends.

2. Product Performance: Work closely with product managers and engineers to build and maintain a high quality pulse on the product. Develop strategies to improve product performance

3. Financial Analysis and Modeling: Conduct in-depth analysis of on-chain swaps and bridging activities to identify trends and opportunities. Utilize financial data to create strategies that optimize on-chain transactions and enhance the efficiency of our developer tools.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on finance or fintech.

  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and advanced analytics techniques.

  • Crypto-native (preferred)

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.

  • Expertise in SQL and database management.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and data engineering tools.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience.
