💼 The Role
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with experience in building distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs. The role’s core activity center will be in building out a series of platform level components that will power the evolution of Rated’s product suite.
🛠️ The Skills
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Experience with a Python web framework such as, FastAPI or Django
- Experience with Postgres and Elasticsearch
- Experience with AWS
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, from code reviews to CI/CD
- Bonus points for experience in building real-time data pipelines using Bytewax, Flink or similar
👲 The Person
- Mission driven and intellectually curious
- At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
- Thrives in early stage environments
- Preferably based in London
👥 The Team
- We’re a highly technical 14 person team (and growing!), working in a hybrid/remote set-up, with a home base in London, UK
🎁 The Offer
- Salary: $100,000 to $140,000
- Equity: 0.1% to 0.2%
