💼 The Role
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with experience in building distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs. The role’s core activity center will be in building out a lot of the core indexing, databasing and processing systems that will help Rated expand its footprint to multiple blockchain networks.
🛠️ The Skills
- Expert-level skills in SQL and Python
- Proficient in building real-time data pipelines and indexers using Flink, Bytewax, Beam, Spark Streaming or similar
- Deep understanding of columnar and/or time series databases such as Timescale, Clickhouse, StarRocks or similar.
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, from code reviews to CI/CD.
- Some experience in Infrastructure as Code systems such as Ansible, Terraform or Pulumi.

- Crypto data indexing experience
- Mission driven and intellectually curious
- Thrives in early stage environments
- Avid open source contributor
- Is based anywhere between CET-2 and CET+2, within the UK or the EU
👥 The Team
- We’re a highly technical 13 person team (and growing!), working in a hybrid/remote set-up, with a home base in London, UK.
- We are all deeply embedded in the ecosystem and are working very close to the fold, in terms of research and development in Web3 infrastructure.
🎁 The Offer
- Salary: $110,000 to $160,000
- Equity: 0.1% to 0.2%
