Archetype is an early-stage venture fund focused on accelerating the decentralized future. We back the next generation of crypto founders who are disrupting the status quo, creating entirely new markets, and dedicating themselves maniacally to their craft.

1. Crypto-native: We like to play where we work. We are crypto-natives who have lived through multiple cycles and continue to be deeply embedded in the ecosystem.
2. High-conviction: We are high-conviction investors who deeply respect our founders’ time. Authenticity and speed are at the core of everything we do.
3. Collaborative: We collaborate with founders at the earliest stages (even pre-idea). Our core mission is to help builders scale from 0x to 1.

- Supporting founders and teams within the Archetype portfolio
- Building organic relationships with researchers, founders, builders, and investors to contribute to the ecosystem and surface investment opportunities

- Past working experience in crypto, either in an engineering, product, or research role
- Ability to quickly synthesize and communicate complex technical information at both elementary and academically proficient levels
- Low ego, high initiative–we’re a lean team and value the willingness to wear multiple hats
- High EQ and eagerness to connect with founders, operators, investors, and researchers in the crypto ecosystem
- Ability to work full-time, in-person, in New York–team culture is a core value at Archetype, and the entire team works together in our SoHo office 4-5 days a week
