ABOUT THE ROLE

In the epicenter of innovation and technological advancement, we are seeking a talented, highly-motivated, and seasoned Senior Software Engineer I to lead our Energy Systems Optimization team. This unique role offers a chance to leverage your passion for Bitcoin, energy, and industrial control systems, converging these interests to shape the future of energy optimization in a fast-growing industry . Some of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:

• Architectural Mastery: Utilize your extensive skills in Javascript, Python, and C++ to architect, code, and test sophisticated software solutions for energy optimization. Lead the charge in setting and enforcing high standards for code quality and efficiency.
• Integration Excellence: Expertly integrate our energy optimization software with existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality, peak performance, and swift resolution of any issues that arise.
• Trailblazing Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pioneer the design and implementation of cutting-edge features, algorithms, and methodologies to enhance our energy optimization capabilities.
• Data-Driven Optimization: Use a data-driven approach to continuously refine our software's performance, efficiency, and robustness. Leverage analytics and performance metrics to inform decisions and drive improvements.
• Technical Advocacy: Articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, acting as a technical advisor and advocate for our energy optimization initiatives.
• Innovation Leadership: Keep a finger on the pulse of advancements in Bitcoin, energy, and industrial control systems, harnessing this knowledge to fuel innovation and maintain our technological edge.

ABOUT YOU

• You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You possess at least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• You demonstrate strong proficiency in C++.
• You have a track record of developing software for optimizing industrial systems, especially in the energy sector.
• You understand networking protocols and principles deeply.
• You're skilled at managing and processing large data sets efficiently.
• Your problem-solving prowess is matched only by your strong analytical mindset.
• You have a burning passion for energy, Bitcoin, industrial control systems, or ideally all three.

Bonus Points If:

• You have prior experience with IoT systems.
• You're familiar with machine learning and AI, particularly within the context of energy markets and industrial control systems.
• You thrive when working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
